Choose your own adventure and attend the sessions that best meet your interests or needs. Sessions offered by a variety of campus departments (i.e.: Honors College, Capstone Center for Student Success, Veteran & Military Affairs, etc.).

Welcome home to the Capstone! Join the orientation leaders to learn what to expect during orientation and how to connect with the UA community.

Dismissal of Students

9:15 – 9:30 a.m.
At this time, students are dismissed to attend student-only sessions. Parents & family members will rejoin students for the College Visit, and then continue with their Parent & Family Orientation programming.

Academic Essentials

Learn essential academic information you’ll need to best support your student in their academic endeavors at UA.

Travel to College Visit with Parent Ambassadors

9:55 – 10:15 a.m.

College Visit *

10:15 – 11:45 a.m. Various Locations
You will be escorted by members of the Parent Ambassador team to your student’s school or college. During this session, you will learn of opportunities within your student’s academic area and begin conversations about your student’s class schedule.

Travel Back from Colleges

11:45 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Lunch

12:00 – 12:55 p.m. Ferguson Center Food Court, 2nd floor
Enjoy lunch with other parents and guests alongside the Parent Ambassadors.

Transition to Life on Campus: Housing at UA
