Smiling familyBelow you will find details from Family Weekend 2019. Family Weekend 2020 details will be posted by May 1.

Family Weekend is a “Choose Your Own Adventure” weekend with three main goals for UA families:

  • To reconnect and spend time with your UA student;
  • To experience UA gameday traditions; and
  • To explore Tuscaloosa, your UA student’s new “home away from home.”

During Family Weekend, there will be plenty of opportunities to enjoy time with your UA student and achieve those goals as a family.

Family Weekend 2019 will be held September 20-22, 2019.

This is a great time to visit campus to see your UA student’s “home away from home!” Social and educational family-friendly programs are planned for the weekend so you and your family can enjoy campus, learn more about The University of Alabama, and experience the pride and tradition of Alabama football.

Visit the Family Weekend Registration page to make Family Weekend purchases. Registration will be available May 13, 2019 at 10 a.m. through August 30, 2019 at 3 p.m. (CT)

If your student does not have a ticket to the game and wants to sit with you in the stadium, you will need to register them for Family Weekend in order to make them eligible for a football ticket. This also applies if the student already has a ticket in a different section but wants to sit with you at the game. Learn more about student football ticketing.

Note that all Family Weekend football tickets are PRINT AT HOME. Please bring your tickets with you to Tuscaloosa when you come. If you have any additional questions about your football ticket purchase, contact the Athletic Ticket Office at 1-877-TIDETIX.
