Family Weekend is a weekend with three main goals for UA families:
Family Weekend 2022 will be held September 16-18, 2022.
This is a great time to visit campus to see your UA student’s “home away from home!” Social and educational family-friendly programs are planned for the weekend so you and your family can enjoy the campus, learn more about The University of Alabama, and experience the pride and tradition of Alabama football.
The Family Weekend registration fee is $30 per UA student and family member and includes:
Yes, there will be a charge for children over 2
Note about football tickets for children: Anyone in attendance at the football game (including children 3 years of age and younger) must have a football ticket. A Family Weekend registration is required for eligibility to purchase football tickets for Alabama vs. University of Louisiana Monroe football game. Instructions on how to purchase football tickets can be found on our Football Tickets page on the Family Weekend website. Any questions regarding football tickets should be directed to the Athletic Ticket Office at 1-877-TIDETIX.
Football tickets can be purchased through the Athletic Ticket Office by using the promotional code received in the confirmation email. After paying your Family Weekend fee, a football ticket code will be included on your Family Weekend confirmation/e-ticket that will be sent to your email address. Once you receive the code, you can purchase football tickets and pick your seats in the stadium by visiting the Football Tickets section of the Parent & Family Programs website. There is also a step-by-step tutorial on that page. Any questions regarding football tickets should be directed to the Athletic Ticket Office at 1-877-843-3849 (1-877-TIDETIX).
Student tickets for the football games are purchased and distributed online and are available on your student’s Action Card. If your student purchased a Full Package or Package B, they should already have a ticket in the student section for the football game. Please check with your student to see if they have a University of Louisiana Monroe football game ticket during Family Weekend. If your student does not have a ticket to the game and wants to sit with you in the stadium, you will need to register them for Family Weekend to make them eligible for a football ticket. This also applies if the student already has a ticket in a different section but wants to sit with you at the game. Learn more about student football ticketing.
Note that all Family Weekend football tickets will be delivered via Mobile Delivery. If you have any additional questions about your football ticket purchase, contact the Athletic Ticket Office at 1-877-TIDETIX.

Visit the UA Gameday website for accessible parking information for Saturday and information regarding wheelchair accessibility in Bryant-Denny Stadium. If you have additional questions regarding wheelchair accessibility at the game, contact the Athletic Ticket Office at 1-877-TIDETIX. For accessible parking on campus on Friday, the Family Weekend reserved lot will have spaces available. Also, a visitor’s pass can be purchased from Parking Services for Friday, which will allow for accessible parking in many lots on campus.
The shuttle buses have a wheelchair ramp that folds down, allowing the wheelchair passenger to access the bus. They are not equipped with a lift, so the passenger will have to manually maneuver their chair or the driver can assist them.
