Below is a sample schedule for a 1 Day August session of Parent & Family Orientation (Slight adjustments may occur but those would not impact start and end times of the overall session.) Final schedules will be given at orientation check-in. August sessions for Fall classes are open to first-year and transfer students and their families.

Qualified families should have received an email prior to arriving to Bama Bound.

Receive your materials, name tag, and information for the day.

The UA Experience

Attend an optional session to get information, tips, and tricks directly catered to your student type. Both session timeframes will provide the same information.

Explore academic traditions at UA. During this session, your student will learn about opportunities within their Academic College, meet their advisors, and plan their schedule of classes for the fall.

Supporting Your Students’ Safety on Campus

  This session is only for parents and family members.
University police will share information about UAPD’s services and programs and provide effective tips for students to stay safe on campus.

Health Requirements for Registration

Learn specifics on what immunizations and health records your student needs to begin their time at UA.

Ways to Pay and Financial Aid
