Parent & Family Affinity Groups

Parent & Family Programs invites new and returning UA families to join our nine Affinity Groups. Affinity Groups have been created to join parents & families together who have common interests, identities, or backgrounds to support each other during their students’ time at UA.

  • Solo Parent UA Families Affinity Group: families with a single Head of Household.
  • Military Affiliated UA Families Affinity Group: families who identify as veterans or active military; families supporting students who identify as veterans, active duty, or dependents.
  • Black UA Families Affinity Group: families who identify as black or families supporting their black student(s).
  • UA Families Supporting Their LGBTQIA+ Student(s) Affinity Group: families supporting their student(s) who identify as LGBTQIA+.
  • Jewish UA Families Affinity Group: families who are supporting their Jewish student(s).
  • UA Families Supporting Their First-Generation Student(s) Affinity Group: families supporting their first-generation student(s).
  • UA Families Supporting their Student(s) with Disabilities Affinity Group: families who are supporting their student(s) with disabilities.
  • Asian-American/Pacific Islander (AAPI) UA Families Affinity Group: families who identify as Asian-American/Pacific Islander or families supporting their Asian-American/Pacific Islander student(s).
  • Latinx UA Families Affinity Group: families who identify as Latinx or families supporting their Latinx student(s).
